Congrats and gl in the million peerlesspig! I'll be up to rail you, as I rail the million fairly often for other players. Hope to see you run deep!

Haven't look at the HH yet, but I'll say this: don't be too hard on yourself - everyone makes mistakes. If you are able to recognize your mistakes you are much better off than the player that isn't aware of his/her mistakes.

Long overdue, but I had a coaching session with Amir on Friday. I'm writing up a detailed review on how it was and what all it included. Will try to post it by tonight or tomorrow morning.

I sincerely apologize for replying so late to this thread. I have been out of town with close to no internet access for over a week, and a few personal problems to boot. That said, things are back to normal now, and I should start playing today.

I had a session with Amir 2 weeks back, and I'd like to say, it was the most eyeopening session I've ever had. I've not had much coaching, but have definitely talked to a few good players about my game, and this was by far the best session I had.

Amir started of examining a 4.40/180 HH of mine and sent me detailed comments about my hands, and what leaks he saw. He categorized them into pre-flop and post flop leaks and then explained why a certain move made more sense in that situation.

He then started explaining hand ranges and how/when I should be opening up my ranges. Both of us decided that turbos is a better bet for me right now, given I can pump in more volume and potentially a higher $/hr for the time I have. He correctly explained using examples any layman would understand, why pushing more often with what hand ranges is important. Initially I was hesitant, but Amir always had the math to back up every move he explained, and that just made the session more and more interesting.

He also took some time to help me improve my time management and game selection and also advice about how to manage my playing sessions. Overall, he spoke from his very valuable experience, and made me realize that grinding long hours for multiple days, is actually -eV for even an excellent player in the long run.

He talked to me for over 2 hours, and at no point did he show a lack of interest. One would think that being a free session, he might not be as sincere, but I can vouch for the fact that, every minute of the session had valuable information. I have the session documented, and I can't think of a single thing in the entire session which wasn't of value.

Please realize, I have no personal interest out of this, and saying something good about Amir is of no benefit to me. I would definitely recommend Amir's coaching, or just even a small advice session, since he has tonnes of valuable experience behind him, both in game and out of it.

Thanks Amir for taking time off to help me out.

Small update post Amir coaching. I know the sample size is small, however, I still feel it's worth sharing.

After talking to AmirI started putting in some decent volume in the 2.20/180s and 3/45s. I think I have to give him a lot of credit for my success in them, and of course, a good amount of run good too on my end.

I've also just started playing the 6/45s in my rotation, so I register for 3/45, 6/45 and 2/180 at a time.

I would really like to thank Amir a ton for the help he has offered me. I know there is a good deal of run good in these results, and the downswing is coming, however, I'm not complaining.

In the attached file, the first row is 6/45s. Just 80 games, but a lot of run good in them.

The other 2 are 2/180 + 3/45 and all the above combined. Just wanted to let you all know how things are going. Hoping to push more volume in times to come. I just separated the 6.50s on top to say it's purely run good, and might make the results seem slightly more skewed than normal.
