Hi everyone
The hand i found interesting is one played by Cashcid Linc entitled: '' Reverse twilight... or something''
On the turn play, our member has the following analysis:
'' as I said based on flop action there is a high likelihood this player is just trying to buy the pot now since the turncard didnt change anything. However there is some small chance he hit a set of sixes or slowplayed his hand on the flop though I think its slim. But rather not want to go all in here, my plan is to minraise pretty much and then if called jam any river. If I get shoved on I fold. I dont want to raise bigger since then the opponent might decide to make a crying call on river if he decides to call one street with like 76ss or whatever or a draw that hits one pair on river. Basically want to preserve foldequity for river and also still have the chance to fold if shoved on here.''
So my question is this: You said you would rather min-raise rather than shove there. What are the benefits of shoving the turn should you choose to do so? Is it principally your equity of 2 overs and gutshot against his range consisting mostly of bluffs and a thin amount of value hands + fold equity?
Thanks
ps: hope it isn't an issue to copy paste member's hands into a forum thread?
